Joe is an excellent teacher. His knowledge of the guitar and music theory make the lessons fun and he is good at finding teachable moments. He has a good grasp on what is manageable to learn in between lessons. I was nervous about doing lessons over Skype at first but it's much more convenient and I'm not missing anything.

I bought guitarlessons as a Christmas present for my fiancé. Joe was very responsive and great to work with on getting this set up. My fiancé had his first lesson earlier this week and he loves it.

My son (10 years old) and I started guitarlessons with Joe and it's been amazing to see the progress!
Joe is professional, personable, and just a great teacher and person.
Joe is able to adjust to different levels (for quick learners and slow learners) and breaks lessons down into manageable parts.
Our son is so proud of the progress he has made so quickly and it's been amazing to see.
It's been a joy to work with Joe! Highly recommend for both kids and adults and beginners to pros!

Joe is no doubt a fantastic guitarist, but being a good guitarist doesn’t make you a good teacher. Joe’s patience and professionalism make him a great teacher who will encourage you to reach your goals and beyond!

Working with Joe has been amazing! I have been playing guitar for a while but felt stuck and bored with my playing. Joe has been teaching me new techniques to give variety to my playing and improving on the skills I had. He breaks things down to make them easier to understand and spends time on theory as well. I feel like my playing has improved a lot in a short amount of time with Joe. I highly recommend him as a teacher.
