- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Jobs that require extensive estimates and or completed drawings may have an upfront charge that will go towards the total price of the project. House calls for minor detail/service performed on an hourly basis will have a 2 hour minimum(i.e. small handy stuff... this covers time/fuel)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Take the time to establish a clear expectation of the work that needs done by phone or email. Always suggest a visit to the site to generate an informed quote. We will set a clear expectation of your project from start to finish through transparency and over-communication.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was fortunate to start my training in a niche market, constructing high-end custom homes. My work encompassed everything from footings and foundation walls to framing, drywall, custom cabinetry, trim, flooring, siding, and windows, amassing over 20 years of professional experience.
