Nest Home Organizing is FANTASTIC. There's nothing Malinda cannot organize in a manner that reduces not only clutter but also stress! From desk drawers to toys to a cluttered basement and even our bathrooms, she helped reorganize my entire house from top to bottom. And now my kids (and husband) have finally stopped asking me to help them find things!

I cannot say enough good things about Nest Home Organizing! Malinda is incredibly friendly, professional, and REALLY GOOD at organizing. She stayed completely focused on the task at all times, while still being pleasant and enjoyable to be around. Malinda is very efficient. She took a disaster of a large kitchen pantry with 10 years of junk crammed into it and turned it into a truly beautiful, highly organized space. I get compliments on it often. Malinda responded quickly to my initial inquiry, and was always punctual and thorough. I couldn't think of any areas of improvement. Thank you Malinda!

Melinda was easy to talk to and when I felt embarrassed showing her my clutter she quickly made me feel at ease. I had a lot of clutter I just couldn't get through due to items left behind by my parents who since passed away. I was emotionally unable to go through things and they piled up. Now I have my house back!

Malinda is amazing! She has made my day-to-day life so much better. I am really busy at work, and I needed someone who could come in, take charge, and make good, common-sense decisions to organize my house without much input from me. She rocked it! I'm so late giving this review but Malinda is great. I can't wait to have her come again. I have chronic autoimmune diseases, with pain, brain fog and fatigue. The best thing about working with Malinda was her supportiveness as I tried to explain my difficulties and make decisions. She was nonjudgental, very understanding and patient. She had suggestions but also offered alternatives and was not pushing her own agenda.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For shorter projects I typically charge by the hour. Single sessions can range anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours, depending on the needs of the customer. For ongoing engagements I am flexible and can charge by the session (half-day or full-day).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by speaking with the customer over the phone. I ask a lot of questions regarding the customer's needs and expectations, and I allow them to ask questions of me and the process I use. If we agree to move forward, we then schedule a time for our first session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO). I have received the Certificate of Residential Organizing through NAPO and the Certificate of Household Management. I currently serve on the board of the local chapter of NAPO (NAPO - Nashville). I am constantly taking continuing education courses in the field of professional organizing to further my skills.
