Introduction: Two ways my work stands out from other teachers:
1. I can teach you how to learn - Fast.
I specialize in taking people from zero to hero in the shortest amount of time possible. I use a lot of methods such as "Accelerated Learning Techniques" and exploiting "Mental Loopholes" to speed your progress and learn stuff in a fraction of the time.
If you want more info on that, check out my book "Supercharge Your Piano Practice."
The thing you have to understand about teaching piano... A lot of teachers use "Method Books" to teach. These make it easy to teach because they put students into a cookie-cutter mold where everyone learns the same thing.
What's the problem with that?
Every student has different goals. Is at a different age. Can handle different amounts of material.
So to put everyone in that cookie cutter mold is - ridiculous.
But.
It makes the job a lot easier on the teacher. There's a lot less planning (read: less thinking) involved, so a lot of teachers do it anyways.
That's not how I roll. To me each student is a different program with different goals, and I come up with a unique system to fit each of my students.
2. I specialize in teaching music that's relevant today
I specialize in teaching pop music. Country covers. Jazz. Playing for singers.
Can I teach classical? Sure, I learned classical all through college. But my passion is much more for teaching modern stuff.
Because it's music that matters much more to people today. And honestly it's a whole different method of teaching than teaching classical.
If you're interested in the style of pop music I can teach, watch some of my videos. Basically, I can teach you how to do that.
