Jonah was very flexible with scheduling a time for my repair. I had to change our appointment a few times and he was fine with it. He was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. My piano was a thrift-store purchase and in pretty bad shape. Jonah worked on it for about 5 hours solid. I was impressed with his determination to get my piano in good working order. I felt his price was very reasonable considering the scope of the work. I am very pleased and I will call him again for regular tuning.

Tunings start at $100, plus tax. Cost can be higher for transportation and more extensive jobs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I evaluate the piano player first. Is it someone new to the instrument? What musical goals does this person have? Then I asses the piano - what its capabilities are. I can devise a strategy for going forward after these simple first few steps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the Piano Technicians Guild which is the most prominent organization in the field, and is committed to improving the skills of all members.
