Simply put: Erin is great! From the beginning it was easy to see that Erin prides herself in her work, and believes in communication. Her methods are easy to understand, and her approach is professional but friendly. I really felt like Erin took the time to ask questions and understand my background so that she could tailor future lessons to my needs.Sep 5, 2017Verified
Erin is the BEST of the best! I have been taking lessons from her for almost a year and have loved every single lesson I've had. She is so patient and has helped build up my confidence in such a wonderful way! Love her so much!!! Would 100% recommend her!Jul 27, 2017Erin M. Phillips Vocal Studio's reply
Thank you, O'Neal! So proud of all the work you've done!!
I have been working with Erin since December of 2016 as a vocal coach. Not only did she make me feel comfortable as a vocalist working out my kinks and embarrassing myself for the betterment of my performance, but she has this infallible kindness and aura to her that makes working with her like working with a friend you've known for years.Jul 27, 2017Erin M. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer packages based off of your commitment level (monthly-quarterly), with a signed agreement so we are both held accountable. Once a student has begun lessons, I also offer referral bonuses. If they refer a student to me who books, they receive a lesson at half off!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first lesson is learning all about the student - it's also where we do the most talking. I learn what your goals are, what your experience is, and where you think you need to improve most. After that, I go through warm ups and exercises to asses the student's ability. I assign "homework" (exercises) for the student to practice in between lessons and we go from there! Each lesson is going to be different based off of the improvement of the student and I'm not afraid to change my lesson plan halfway through if it isn't working.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?- Bachelor's in Music, Commercial Voice from Belmont University - 15 years singing professionally - 8 years of personal vocal lessons
