Megan was very organized, and she customizes the lesson based on your aspirations. You’re provided with songs related to your interests and you can see measurable improvements during the same lesson. I’m curious to see where I could hit at the 6 month mark at the rate I’m improving under Megan. You will learn to focus on different aspects of musicality under Megan and learn more technical terms and techniques. Best of all, you’ll have fun practicing, singing, and listening to new songs. Make sure you have a clear idea of what you’d like to sing, as well as the class structure to get the most out of your lessons. Take her recommendations to heart and make the ones that work into habits!Jan 30, 2020Verified
I have been taking lessons with Megan for close to three years. As a professor, I spend a good portion of my day speaking and lecturing. Since starting my lessons, I have noticed a dramatic improvement with my voice, I have learned skills and technique to keep my voice healthy from fatigue and I have expanded my vocal range. I would highly recommend M.E.T vocal coaching for anyone who wants to maintain flexibility and longevity in their singing.Feb 10, 2019

So excited to work with Megan after our one on one consultation. She guided me through the first lesson and gave me feedback that made my voice sound better. Thank you so muchMay 27, 2020Verified
Megan connected with my daughter right from the start. She was responsive. She set up a meet time, went right to work meeting my child where she was and discussing her goals going forward. A plan was set in place and within two days lessons were started, homework assigned and being done. A great value for the money. Megan is knowledgable and connected professionally with my girl. Thank you.Apr 8, 2020Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a FREE initial consultation in person and via Skype during which I assess a client's voice. I begin with asking questions about a client's current goals for their singing. After diving into their background, we start making music! Once I have assessed the voice we discuss my recommendations and create a plan together for how we will achieve their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?-Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy, Belmont University -Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance, Seattle Pacific University An active member of: -Pan-American Vocology Association (PAVA) -National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) -Northwest Institute of Voice (NWIV)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always loved singing! I grew up performing in church, musical theater, and competition choirs. My undergrad and masters studies were both centered on the voice. In due time, my life dream was clear to me - to be a professional vocal coach!
