I have been taking lessons with Megan for close to three years. As a professor, I spend a good portion of my day speaking and lecturing. Since starting my lessons, I have noticed a dramatic improvement with my voice, I have learned skills and technique to keep my voice healthy from fatigue and I have expanded my vocal range. I would highly recommend M.E.T vocal coaching for anyone who wants to maintain flexibility and longevity in their singing.Feb 10, 2019

Upon my first meeting with Megan, I have already gained some very useful tools to improve my voice! I love that Megan is interested in understanding what your goals are, and tailoring the lessons to meeting those goals. Highly recommend.Sep 4, 2019Verified

I only took a few lessons from Megan, but in that time she gave me valuable tools to improve my vocal health. She was thoughtful in her lessons and offered encouragement and help throughout!Feb 22, 2019Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a FREE initial consultation in person and via Skype during which I assess a client's voice. I begin with asking questions about a client's current goals for their singing. After diving into their background, we start making music! Once I have assessed the voice we discuss my recommendations and create a plan together for how we will achieve their goals.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always loved singing! I grew up performing in church, musical theater, and competition choirs. My undergrad and masters studies were both centered on the voice. In due time, my life dream was clear to me - to be a professional vocal coach!
