My mission is to move artists towards their passions and encourage them along their path to find joy in their art. It has always been a pleasure of mine to see others succeed in their craft and grow towards their dreams. I am an artist with many skills and tools; fueled with creativity and passion, I desire to inspire other artists with what I’ve been given. I have a small studio, composition and arranging skills, production skills in Logic Pro X, and rhythm guitar skills. My journey in music began in 6th grade when I received my first guitar, my first role in a musical, and my first vocal solo performance. Choirs, music competitions, worship bands, rock bands, open mic nights, and musicals became my life; these music fields led me to pursue vocal studies in college. In the university’s vocal seminars, I was able to practice giving feedback to our fellow vocal students. I internalized what I had learned about my own voice and translated it into helping others figure out theirs. Fulfilled by the classroom experience, I took my knowledge to my own studio to produce vocalists. I started recording vocalists’ demos and helped them produce the healthiest version of their voice; this also began to mold my own teaching techniques. Over the past four years, I have received many opportunities to grow as a teacher. First, an after school program, called Cottage Cove hired me to help run their daily programs. Weekly lessons began where I taught guitar to the children. They also had a fundraiser showcase where I directed the percussion, vocals, piano, and guitar.
