- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mark Woodward (owner/tech) and Simeon Michelson (tech) are both Certified Pool Operators (CPO).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work mostly with residential pool and hot tub owners. We have worked on gunnite/plaster, vinyl liner, and fiberglass pools. Salt and conventional — sand, cartridge, and D.E filters. We have repaired pumps, replaced pumps, replaced pump motors, replaced filters, cleaned filter cartridges, replaced salt cells, installed heaters, installed automation systems, repaired cracks in pool decks and pool coping, measured and installed safety cover covers, done acid washing and pressure washing, repaired damaged pool and hot tub plumbing, and cleaned very green pools.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure to ask ahead of time whether chemicals will be in addition to the quoted price or include included in the quoted price. A green pool is going to require a lot more chemicals than maintaining a clean pool.
