I have used Jay Farrell's services on several occasions. Two weddings- my brother's and then my own wedding, a Christmas party, and my personal maternity photos. I will also, be using him in the near future for my baby's first photos. What I love the most about Jay Farrell's work is of course the end results. Each shoot he has provided me with spectacular results, the photos have always turned out with the look, feel and vibe that I was hoping for. The quality of his work is hard to come by. He is very patient and is willing to make sure that all bases are covered- even making suggestions for further creativity. Each photo shoot he has gone out of his way in one way or another in making each one very special and unique. He is extremely versatile. He has always been prompt, easy and fun to work with. Always listening to any ideas- and then making it happen. Each time I have been blown away with my photos. He is the go to person as far as I am concerned.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Usually engagement photos, weddings (I have a contemporary documentary style, and engagement sessions and coffee table books included in some packages. Also Portrait sessions, headshots, and fine art / boudoir photography.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

-Make sure the photographer's style is compatible with your needs. -Look beyond price only...style, personality, and business track record matter too. Photography is a very personal service, and being a proper fit with them really makes for a more successful session of any kind. For weddings, backup equipment and insurance is a must, and this is one key factor that separates the pros from the short timers.
