FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first consultation can either be done by voice chat, video chat or meeting in person. I want to get to know you and who you are. This can help with choosing your the location, posing, wardrobe and more! I love creative portraiture and really love bright vibrant colors! Once we discuss this, we then schedule your session and the sessions retainer fee of 50% is due at this time. Session day, this is my favorite part! It's filled with lots of giggles, music and so much fun. I want you to shine so brightly during your session, so anything that will help aid in this be sure to bring it with you to your session! The remainder of the session fee is due on this day. Editing begins. This is a typical 2 -3 week turn around time. You also get 2-3 sneak peek images from your session. Once editing is complete you will be notified by email and voice message that your images are ready and from there we can schedule an in-person viewing and ordering session. An in-person viewing session makes ordering your prints so much easier. To be able to touch your pictures and see them in person is the best way to choose prints, packages and boutique items (such as cards, stickers, books and etc.). I'm there with you every step of the way to make sure you have an awesome experience and great satisfaction with every order!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My biggest piece of advice to anyone looking to hire a photographer is to not base their decision on price. This is an industry in which you truly do get what you pay for. Quality is far better than quantity when it comes to choosing who will provide you with your portraits. You want a photographer who has a style that you love. Find a few that you are drawn to and look at their work; what do you feel when you see it? Do those feelings line up with what you are naturally drawn to? Try word associations and choose based on that. It is so much better to pick a photographer that you absolutely adore and have to save for a session with them than to settle for a cheap photographer and regret it later and feel like that money has been wasted. Trust me; I've been there and done that a multitude of times.
