Quoted me a price for house. Needed more money because they needed another trailer to get everything moved. Poor planning. I paid. In middle of move and sprang the new cost on me. I could move the rest or he could for a price. Movers got the job done though. Quick, took care of everything. Courteous movers.

Jeff and Kat put together a bed for us! It arrived with a screw hole in the wrong place but they adjusted it easily. They moved furniture and adjusted a lamp. Jeff and Kat were polite, efficient and eager to please. 5 Stars!!!!

Let me begin by saying that we actually liked these movers and felt they were very trustworthy. We had packed and moved my mom from a 3BR 3BA home to a1BR 1BA apartment. We hired the movers to help unload the truck and set up and help unpack mom's things. One of the movers jokingly complained the whole time. At first it was cute, but got old, as we were all tired. They did not place things where we asked, for good reason due to the location of the room a/c, but that left my mom unable to fit everything into useable space. When it came time to actually setting up shelves in bookcases, the China cabinet, and the curio cabinet, and helping to unpack boxes, we just decided to let them go, feeling that they were not going to put things where we asked, and that we would have to redo everything, anyway.

How much should you tip furniture movers?

Moving furniture is hard work and potentially dangerous unless you’re properly equipped. For anyone not ready to handle their heavy oak armoire alone, professional furniture movers can safely and efficiently move your items to another room in your house or across town as needed. The national average cost to hire heavy furniture movers is $150-$200 per hour. This rate could include multiple furniture movers working as a team to move items such as beds, armoires, billiards tables, pianos, shelves, tables, entertainment centers and more. Hourly rates can vary by region. If your furniture movers have arrived on time, done a great job, kept your home and belongings protected from scratches and dings, and completed the move as planned, a tip will be greatly appreciated. Moving companies suggest approximately 10 percent of the total bill as gratuity for those doing local moving jobs, which is also a good guideline for tipping heavy furniture movers. If the total bill for heavy moving was $100 and two workers were onsite, consider giving them $10 total, or $5 each for a job well done.
