I came to Trey Boothe at 71 years old, a self-taught guitarist with years of bad habits baked in and no real roadmap for where I wanted to go. Retirement gave me the gift of time, and I decided to finally invest in proper instruction. Eight months later, I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. Trey is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in his students’ progress. He brings structure and discipline to the lessons without ever losing the joy of the music. If you’re considering lessons — whether you’re 17 or 71 — I can’t recommend Trey Boothe highly enough. It’s never too late to grow as a musician, and Trey will make sure of that.

Trey is an excellent teacher. I have been taking guitar lessons from him for a few months now. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and honest. He takes the time to find out what the student's needs are and works that into their lessons. He is also very understanding and encouraging. I really enjoy taking lessons from Trey. I would highly recommend Trey to students of all ages and experience levels.

I have been taking lessons from him for nearly ten years and I love that he teaches multiple instruments, allowing me to switch between instruments when I want to learn a new one! I like that he allows his students to choose what songs and styled of music they would like to do and I also appreciate the fact that he doesn’t speed through songs/music by moving on to new projects too fast.
