FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Q: How much do video services cost? A: Unfortunately there is no black and white answer for that question. Video Production costs always fall in a gray area because it varies greatly based on the client, the end goal, and the production value. The more crew members that are on set, the more polished the video will look, but the higher the cost. 3 or more crew member services generally start around $5,000 or more. Single cameraman operations generally fall anywhere from $1,200 to $3,600 for a 60-90 second video, depending on the project and the equipment involved. Longer run times, 4k video, and multi-location shoots will cost more. If you’re on a very tight budget, full service video production may not be for you. Videography services are generally the cheaper alternative, but you get what you pay for. There is minimal planning, the cameraman shows up to film, hands off the footage to you, and you’re left to figure out the rest yourself. There is no marketing approach or hands-on training.
