- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no standard pricing that we use as that would sacrifice our competitive nature. We offer fair and reasonable pricing for the services that we render and if a client has questions as to how we arrived at a bid price we are always willing to explain how we set ourselves apart from our competitors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process for working with a new customer is to ensure we ask the right questions to better fulfill their needs. First and foremost, once hired we always perform a pre-install walk thru and consultation. Then we will move on to equipment testing & inspection no matter if the equipment is new or existing, this ensures a sound install can be performed once you know everything is in working condition before beginning. Once everything has been disclosed to the client we begin to set up & connect any existing or newly purchased equipment. We will bundle wiring and cables neatly and conceal in-wall rated wires where applicable. (Television power cables are not rated for in-wall wire concealment) however, for an additional fee one may be purchased through us. Once the job is complete we begin testing & inspecting the install. Once all equipment passes inspection we clean up any debris that may have accumulated due to the installation. Then we perform the final walk thru and consultation. Once we have discussed the completed install we show the client how to use the newly installed equipment and provide additional guidance as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in this industry for 20+ years and continue to attend workshops and seminars on the new up and coming technologies each year. Since technology changes so frequently in this industry we at Benchmark Communications feel we need to continue to grow with it.
