Be honest with customer; don't take job there is no way you can finish when promised; don't ask for advance.

This guy asked for money up front to buy supples, then didn't show up to do the work!! This guy, James Papa is a fraud! The work his one hand actually did was a joke - what painter doesn't take off the light switch and plug covers? They painted over nails, rather than take them out and fill the holes. James was supposed to apply a material to the wall paper that would bond it to the Sheetrock prior to texturing and painting. He bought regular primer, half-ass rolled on one coat and started painting over it! Also got paint on my floors. It looks ridiculous! You can see the wallpaper seems. Now I have to pay a real professional to fix what he and his hand did. They didn't start work when expected (started a week late), shoes up late when they did show up, didn't finish the job at all, and no-showed several times. I asked him to let me have the supplies I paid for, give me the receipts and pay me back any difference. I gave him a chance to make things right, but he won't answer my texts. Do NOT waste your hard-earned money on this guy!
