There is something not right about this tree trimming service. My first warning should have been his profile picture. He said he broke his glasses. It’s more than that... Hair color, age, body shape. I’ve made the mistake of giving him 1/2 the cash for agreed upon work. He needed half to rent a grinder. He said he could start Saturday afternoon. (At this time I wasn’t aware my neighbor was going to hire him.) Then he returned telling me his other workers took on additional jobs so he would not be able to start that day. We agreed on Monday. I had to message and call him asking when he would show up. He came over and pulled down a dead tree. It only took a shovel and muscle. He trimmed some branches, but couldn’t reach some dead ones. He needed to go get a pole saw from these other workers. He asked for more money to rent a grinder. Stupidly, I gave him all but the last $100. I haven’t heard from him today and he isn’t responding to my calls. My neighbor has also hired him because we were using him. She, too, has given him money and the job has not been completed. He also told her he needed money to rent a grinder. I don’t recommend him.
