FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always worked with my hands.since I can remember... Learning basic carpentry and auto mechanics when I was only 6. I used to do my own bicylcle repairs, mods, and painting starting at 7. I began to "tinker"with electronics when I was 10, taking radios and televisions that I would find in the alleys in my neighborhood and repairing them to use for myself. I grew up poor, so this was a way for me to obtain luxuries such as these, without having to pay for them. This is also where I learned platform integration through routing various devices between one another to find a desired effect, surround sound, etc. I picked up computer information system classes in college while working towards an associates in business. But still it was not until 8 years later that I would get into this line of work. Sitting at home, injured from work related labor, I was brainstorming and was just thinking that there was more to life than this. I am customer oriented, am highly mechanically inclined, and work well with my hands, it was only destiny for me to become what I have become and am evolving to be. So I took IT courses with South University and found that all I learned, for the most part I knew and understood. The rest is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types jobs that I find myself doing for clients happens to be computer repair and recovery services. Computer viruses are very nasty and can render personal computers useless. I have also been finding myself doing a lot of LCD display replacements. All of have a little mishap in us and display screens often fall victim to us.
