FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to my photography pricing, I believe transparency is key. My pricing structure is designed to reflect the quality, time, and expertise invested in each project. While I strive to maintain competitive rates within the industry, it's important for customers to understand that the cost encompasses not only the actual photography session but also pre-shoot preparations, post-production work, and the use of professional-grade equipment. I occasionally offer discounts for various reasons, such as seasonal promotions, referrals, or special events. I encourage customers to inquire about any ongoing promotions or bundled packages that might be available. Additionally, it's crucial to communicate any potential additional fees upfront. Factors such as travel beyond a certain distance, special equipment requirements, or extended post-production services may incur extra charges. However, I make sure to discuss these aspects with customers beforehand to ensure clarity and avoid any surprises. Ultimately, my goal is to provide customers with a comprehensive understanding of the value they receive for their investment. I am open to discussing pricing details and addressing any questions or concerns to ensure a positive and transparent experience for every client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional photographer since 2017, and throughout my journey, I prioritize ongoing education and skill development to stay at the forefront of my craft. While I don't have a formal education in photography, my commitment to continuous learning is evident in various aspects. I invest in my skills by staying updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies. This involves dedicating time to self-education, whether it's through online courses, tutorials, or workshops. Additionally, I actively seek inspiration from renowned photographers and attend photography conferences to gain insights into emerging practices and innovations. Recognizing the importance of staying technically proficient, I regularly invest in new equipment that aligns with the evolving demands of the field. This ensures that I can consistently deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds the expectations of my clients. In essence, my approach to education and training is dynamic, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of photography. By staying informed and continually enhancing my skills, I strive to offer clients not just a service but a reflection of the latest advancements and creative possibilities in the world of photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
"I first delved into this line of work back in 2013 when I casually picked up a camera with the intention of starting my own YouTube channel. However, my trajectory swiftly evolved as I found a passion for photography. In 2017, I transitioned from capturing moments for my personal enjoyment to taking pictures of friends, family, and various events at my college. Recognizing the potential in this newfound passion, I made the conscious decision to pursue it more seriously and established my own photography business. The turning point came in the form of my first paid photography gig, which happened to be an engagement photoshoot."
