- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Once a quote is agreed upon, I never change that price. Many complain that they hired a company to do a certain thing, but then faced frustrating mark ups, and hidden fees, etc. My customers often comment on how specific and detailed my quote was, and that I actually did more than was promised- sometimes for less than was quoted!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After understanding what the needs and desires of the homeowner are, I give a spoken estimate which, if the homeowner is interested in, I produce a detailed proposal, explaining materials, procedure of work, cost, and availability.
