- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We utilize a standard pricing model for each customer allowing us to be aggressive in pricing and consistent across our customer base. Many companies will size up customers and modify pricing accordingly. In our pricing model we utilize a standard cost per man hour and per material type, this provides assurance from each customer they are getting the best price possible from Delta.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We follow a very defined process to ensure each customer experience meets our high standards. This starts with a phone conversation to understand overall scope and budget. During the initial onsite visit we go through and discover the type of landscape and cover all the requirements. Our team goes back and works those requirements into a bid estimate. The bid estimate we send it very detailed and contains specifics around plant variety, size, and quantity. Our goal in each bid estimate is confirm customer requirements are met and to be clear on exactly the work being performed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
With a natural passion for landscapes and design and drawing from past experience in customer service is how Delta began. Many of our team members have started with other sizeable landscape companies and have since brought that experience to Delta.
