- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge per Sq. ft mostly but prefer to charge per construction cost. Our prospective clients should please understand when we charge per Sq. ft, we will calculate all impervious surfaces that include conditioned and non-conditioned areas for the total for the cost of the work. If the total Sq.ft is not known at the start of the work, it would finalize at the end of the design process. We might charge per hour in some cases. All plans/drawing sets are drawn using Revit (BIM). Honesty and transparency is a fundamental part of our work so being upfront with our clients lets them know what they are receiving.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All initial consultations are over the phone. I like to get to know my clients and understand their needs and wants for the project. Then follow up with a second meeting at the site to visualize the clients' ideas and enhance them by giving some suggestions. I usually work with the client through the design phases and what to expect. The initial draft plan (Conceptual / Schematic phase) is often 2 - 3 weeks.

Masters in Architecture Bachelors in Interior Architecture and Design 17 years of experience in design and architecture.
