Faye has been excellent from start to finish. I would recommend her to anyone. Everything was very timely and she pays close attention to the details. I have worked with Architech’s in the past that just don’t seem to be on the same page with me. While Faye gets all those specifics and gives great ideas and feedback. I used Faye on my personal home but I will be using her in the future on my larger remodels and new home builds because of how fast she can turn things around and her attention to details. Thank you Faye! Looking forward to starting the next project.

CF7 designed a one story 5 bedroom, single family house for us. Ms. Faye did an excellent job with the design. The work quality was unique—a work a class and excellence. Not only was the space of the property designed to effuse the distinction I looked for, but it was also very functional, and the flow of the areas was a work to behold. Faye, the lead creative designer, was also very professional—despite being an excellent designer with a lot of architectural zest and creativity, seeking creative freedom and all, she respected my wishes. Faye was reasonably priced and great to work with. She is very reliable and will communicate clearly to get on the same page as you. Even after completing the work she will go back and make any revisions to the plans that need correcting per the permitting process.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge per Sq. ft mostly but prefer to charge per construction cost. Our prospective clients should please understand when we charge per Sq. ft, we will calculate all impervious surfaces that include conditioned and non-conditioned areas for the total for the cost of the work. If the total Sq.ft is not known at the start of the work, it would finalize at the end of the design process. We might charge per hour in some cases. All plans/drawing sets are drawn using Revit (BIM). Honesty and transparency is a fundamental part of our work so being upfront with our clients lets them know what they are receiving.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All initial consultations are over the phone. I like to get to know my clients and understand their needs and wants for the project. Then follow up with a second meeting at the site to visualize the clients' ideas and enhance them by giving some suggestions. I usually work with the client through the design phases and what to expect. The initial draft plan (Conceptual / Schematic phase) is often 2 - 3 weeks.
