I had Hardy-Plank siding installed and needed some additional trim installed around around several windows and doors. Much of the siding needed to be caulked, and all additional trim also needed to be caulked. All unpainted siding and trim needed to be painted.

After a broken pipe flooded part of my home, a water restoration company came out and removed the bottom 2 feet of of drywall and insulation in three rooms. Chase came out on Thursday afternoon and gave me an estimate for repair and texturing. Most important to me was that it could be completed quickly and Chase told me it would all be finished by Monday which was what I needed. He began work on Friday and was finished by 2pm on Saturday. Wow. The quality of the work is outstanding. Chase was professional yet personable and very easy to work with. I will not hesitate to call him again for any such jobs in the future.

They will be my go to guys for anything electrician/audio/visual related. They mounted 2 tvs, installed an exterior motion light. They can do it all - surround sound, security cameras, etc. I'll have them on speed dial. Their reviews are solid for a reason!

The project was to remove the popcorn from all ceilings at my house (2000 sqt); the contractor did a great job removing it, texturing the ceilings, and painting. There was some delay with one of the rooms and the contractor offered to paints the walls of any room for free and provided the paint of my choice. Overall I was very happy with them, and Kollie is a great guy to work with and very accommodating.

After interviewing multiple contractors my husband and I decided Greg Vasquez was the best choice for our remodeling needs. Greg took time to confirm our desired outcomes and reviewed recommendations based upon his experience and expertise. That was certainly helpful to have insight as to what products were best for our needs. From kitchen to bathroom, sunroom to living room and office remodel, Greg was able to complete the work and clean up debris before leaving each day. There is no need to contact anyone else in our book, as he has done electrical, plumbing, tile, sheetrock, painting and texturing and gas appliance replacement for us. He even took pains-taking time and effort to level our sunroom slab before re-tiling. In addition, he was able to remove and reset our French doors that were installed incorrectly by a contractor I'll never use again. (We could keep him busy just fixing the mistakes previous contractors have made at my house). Greg is one whom we trust and respect - two vital qualities to consider when hiring someone to work in your house. My husband and I feel Greg has saved us from our endless weekend projects and we can't wait to have the next phase of remodeling commence.

Chris Duncanson is a true craftsman and professional. He should be considered for any job you may have around the home. He's helped me to improve my home's character dramatically by building me a custom mantle, installing a coiffured ceiling and crown molding, doing a bench seat and storage unit with integrated wainscotting in my mudroom, and finishing my basement. He's very easy to work with, has a positive attitude, and great design ideas. He's highly skilled as well and has great attention to detail which is key to any finish carpentry job. If you hire Chris, you won't be disappointed! Good luck!

They rebuilt a brick planter for me and made it even better than the original! They stood by their original quote even though it required more work than they first thought. They did the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves completely. And they did the job for $100 less than I was quoted by another professional. I highly recommend them!

Brian was lead Foreman for my company for 5 years. He ran crews and performed work ranging from demolition phase through completion of large high end remodels in Denver & Vail, Colorado. His attention to detail and high end carpentry work is hard to find these days. I would highly recommend Brian for all your remodeling projects ranging from small to large jobs. He can do bath, kitchen, basement finish, and complete home remodels. His hardwood floors are beautiful.

About

Tex-Tar Waterproofing has successfully been conducting business throughout Central Texas for more than 13 years. We specialize in hot mopping asphalt and shower pans as per uniform plumbing code specifications, and we have waterproofing specialist for walking decks as well as below-grade applications. Our experts at Tex-Tar know how critical waterproofing is and what it takes to get your shower pan, deck or below-grade application waterproofed on schedule and ready for tile application or the next construction phase. Industry experts like The Ceramic Tile Institute, established in 1992 to promote excellence in tile installation, agree that the single most reliable and trusted tile experts in the world recommend the hot mop asphalt shower pan waterproofing method above all the other methods, such as pan liners or fiberglass. Tex-Tar shower pans protect any unique or regular-shaped shower receptor better than anything else does for an available period. Shower pans are constructed of multiple layers of asphalt and hot tar, webbing reinforced corners, ply 4 felt with a sloped mud set base that's pitched at least 1/4 inch per foot. Every Tex-Tar shower pan is built to code and guaranteed. If your foundation or mud base shifts, shrinks, or cracks with other applications, you will likely have a leak. However, our pans flex enough to avoid those costly issues. Tex-Tar deck waterproofing is typically a torch down APP modified bitumen application done by personnel with many years of experience and applied under the right conditions. Below-grade applications are our specialty. Waterproofing experts are not plentiful, but we have some very good people. We have many satisfied references available for all types of work that we do. Contact us now for your next critical project so you won't have to contact us to fix a problem in the future. Tex-Tar sales professionals will visit your job site, measure your project, and provide you with a no-obligation quote. If required, they will make recommendations to make sure your construction project remains trouble free.
