Xrisanthy G. says, "Josh and Brad moved my mom from one 4th story apartment to another (both with elevators) that was down the road about 5 min. They were very friendly, greeted with a handshake and I appreciated the timeliness (they were actually early to set up). They worked well together and everything was well taken care of. They arrived with a U-Haul and a trailer and were able to take everything with one trip. A few points for feedback that I would say would be helpful. You may want to take photos of your entire space and get a price quote locked in and then be fully prepared that it will likely take the max quoted time. The original estimate was 3-4 hours and then that became 5-6 with an updated inventory list. The thing is, these were not an excessively large amount of items. It was a one bedroom apartment and the place was emptied out in about 2 hours. However, somehow, everything wasn’t moved into the new place and finished until almost 7pm (~6hrs total move time @ $140/hr for 2 movers). While I understand this was within the updated possible time quoted, I feel that a bit less chatting and more haste would have been appreciated to help it go by quicker. Additionally, although said respectfully amongst each other and to us, there were a lot of comments about how the size of the boxes were part of the problem in the timing. I understand the very large boxes might be easier but they also weren’t shoe boxes. I felt like the comments were intentional to try to prepare us for them taking a long time. I also didn’t prefer them sharing negative stories that they’ve had moving other people. It was said in a rather matter-of-fact manner but I felt like who knows if we’ll be the next one having a story told about us. I have moved 9 times in the past 2 years with a very similar amount of things and boxes as my moms move and it’s never taken this long. It is hard because I usually don’t want to say anything unless it’s positive however I feel that this honestly is good for them to hear as well as other potential customers."See more
