They couldn't perform the diagnostic on my PC, but to their credit it was because the diagnostic could have caused further damage. However, they made it right by applying the diagnostic fee to a data transfer. Their automated system always kept me apprised as to the status of my repair. Well done!

They were unable to handle my data retrieval issue but were super nice about it, didn't charge me to tell me this, and referred me to another place that can. It's kind of nice when the computer guys are cool, laid back, and non-judgemental. These guys are awesome like that.

I determined there was a hardware failure. For a $50 diagnostic, Discount Electronics told me what it was and how much it would be to fix within 24 hours. I elected to do data recovery instead and since it wasn't much data, my diagnostic fee covered that. Their texting service log kept me seamlessly up to date. I'm a computer support professional and I plan to use Discount Electronics for all IT problems beyond my expertise in the future. I could not be more pleased with their work and service.

Repairs done one day early. Found abs fixed one other issue. Good price and confident with workmanship because they're a known brand/store we've purchased from before. Unfortunately didn't reconnect one little part properly but doesn't affect the functionality I need so I was okay with it - and they threw in a free neoprene case to apologize when we discovered the issue. Good overall experience, good customer service, good price.
