FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work on issues that are interfering with people's happiness. This could be problems in their primary relationship, or it could be things from their past such as poor self-esteem, trouble with depression or anxiety, or feeling stuck in a rut and not knowing how to get out of it. Many people can see themselves repeating mistakes in their lives but they don't know how to make the changes necessary to stop that cycle. I help people to connect the dots between their past and their present and chart a new and healthier course towards their future.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a lot of questions! Many people feel uncomfortable talking to a therapist for the first time and can get tongue tied. I recommend bringing a list of questions to ask so that you can stay focused and make sure that you cover the things that are important to you. Also don't feel pressured to sign up right away. It's a great idea to actually talk to several different therapists before you make up your mind. Therapists are not all alike and the best way to decide who you fit well with is to interview several of them.
