My name is Steven Tallas, the founder and owner of Venture Dog Training. I've driven Venture to be based on positive reinforcement training to encourage a dog's motivational drive. Steven is an excellent trainer! He has helped me so much with Scooby, and knows his stuff. I've learned a lot more about my dog and his motivations thanks to Steven. It's crazy to see so much progress just after a few sessions!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients that are interested in working with us would be asked to fill out a quick consultation form so I can figure out what's going on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 6 Years of experience training dogs from a variety of dog training places in Houston and animal shelters. I am also a certified trainer and graduate of Catch Canine Academy's Master class and an AKC CGC Evaluator. I'm Fear Free Certified and attend training seminars regularly.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a Petsmart Accredited Trainer and moved my way up as my interest grew in animal behavior science.
