Omar also told me of the duct for the dryer being completely clogged and it needed cleaning because it was a fire hazard. Pros: Happy to have a very quick response and quick appt scheduled. Cleaning the fireplace happened. Cons: We made an appt for a 930-1030 window. Guy showed up at 230. They did not really “evaluate” nor did the “technician” seem that knowledgeable about fire places. Had to ask very specific questions that I am not sure I got an educated response to.

Lucas was very pleasant to work with. Very helpful in giving tips and advice. Had a cleaning of the fireplace chimney duct with him and disinfection of the HVAC ducts and he was quick and efficient. He also inspected the HVAC ducts for us and honestly said no cleaning of the ducts is needed since it’s all looking pretty clean. Appreciate the honesty. Did feel like the service was overpriced for how much effort the work needed. For the disinfection he just had to spray some disinfectant on the region where the ducts start from in the attic and on the vents and the charge was 250 which I felt was very high for the effort and time (barely 15 minutes ) it took to do it.

Frustrated by the visit your team made today. Basically, they cleaned my fireplace with a shop vac and worked hard to scare me into paying for actual cleaning. Among the problem statements, I was told due to wood rot at the edge of the chimney that I would have mold inside. This statement was made only moments after arriving. One quick glance and the immediate conclusion was that there was mold inside the chimney. When I pointed out that this was only wood rot on the outer surface of the chimney, Thomas became indignant and said he would go up there, but was pretty sure he would find mold. None was found. He then told me there was a problem because there was standing water on the flat surface where the chimney resides. It just rained! It only stopped raining an hour ago. Thomas told me that mosquitoes and bees would breed there and get into the chimney. What? Mosquitoes and bees? This is not why I hired you. Bees don’t breed in standing water. Mosquitoes do not migrate into chimneys. I basically didn’t trust anything he said as he was clearly prepared to lie to me. He also acted petulant when I didn’t pay for the additional services being offered. He even had a phone call with the office while I was standing next to him as he passive aggressively described that I was not interested in the uncharged services being offered today. It’s a bad business model. Just treat people fairly. Point out the actual issues, don’t lie to people, and don’t act childish when someone says they are going to get a second opinion. Or, run your business anyway you want, but this type of thing will catch up with you.
