I was extremely happy with Chef Jacque's service. I hired her to cook a romantic private dinner for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I was able to arrange everything from outside of Texas, so it was pretty amazing to be able to arrange this type of surprise for my parents despite my absense. Jacque's correspondence was always prompt and warm. She worked hard at finding just the right menu for the evening, giving lots of options. Also, she was flexible when I had to change the date and times. Finally, my parents were very happy with the quality and presentation of the food. Jacque even went out of her way to decorate the table with a "golden anniversary" theme. She went over and beyond. Very, very happy. Thanks so much Chef Jacque!

I HAD A HOUSEWARMING PARTY, JACQUE & HER STAFF WERE AWESOME! JACQUE WENT ABOVE A BEYOND WHAT I EXPECT! SHE STAYED IN MY BUDGET ALSO, WHICH WAS NICE. Simply awesome! She catered for a bachelor party of 13 and did it flawlessly, accommodating vegetarians, picky eaters, etc. She was innovative and creative! Food was solid. Very responsive and quick to please. If we are back in Austin, I will want all my meals from Chef Jacque!

My family changed plans on me at the last minute for New Years Eve. I was sure there was no way I'd find a great caterer to provide food for our impromptu party, but Jacqué came to the rescue. The responded promptly to my inquiry and provided extensive options of delicious menu items for the dinner. She was excellent at communicating throughout the week to ensure everything was in order. The food arrived in a beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious. My family was very impressed with what I was able to pull off at the last minute thanks to Jacqué. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, collaborative, creative and professional cater. She was awesome and I hope to have an excuse to use her again in the future.

Jacque was the first chef to respond to my last minute (10 days notice) Thumbtack plea for a catered Sunday luncheon at my house. I contacted two others, but Jacque was - by far - the quickest to communicate. She was great to plan with (we had some dietary restrictions to navigate) and delivered even more than we expected...all absolutely fresh and delicious. I recommend Chef Jacque without hesitation, and will certainly use her again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything is custom. I require a deposit to hold a date for a job. Customized menu dictates price but we can provide for all budgets! $8-15 Boxed Lunches, Lunch Buffets to feed a crowd, Appetizers trays & platters...to Gourmet Chef's 5 & 7 course meals for as little as $40 or as much as $125 per/person dependent on menu.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! Always experimenting and visiting with other chef's kitchens... and reading cookbooks for my leisure. Staying up on the latest & greatest is vital for growth. I also teach culinary classes on occasion.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had no choice, at age 17 already graduated, I became a manager/buyer for Mr. Dunderbak's Bavarian Pantry. There I became "hooked" heading up not only the "deli" but the catering dept. doing beautiful party platters & creating recipes for the cafeteria style dining. I had over 1300 vendors, buying chocolate covered ants to fried grasshoppers, beers, wines, cheeses, spices... you name it! (before Sysco!)
