FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the actual condition of the item, the type of material, and the scope of work required. Each project is evaluated individually, and the estimate reflects the level of restoration needed rather than a flat rate. For larger projects, labor and materials are typically separated. Materials are billed upfront as a deposit once they are selected, while labor is paid upon completion. In many cases, materials are provided at cost without markup. There are no hidden fees. Any additional costs - such as material sourcing, extended travel outside the standard service area, or structural work - are explained in advance before the work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is structured to keep everything clear and predictable from the start. First, we review photos of the item and basic details (material, type of damage, number of pieces). Based on this, we provide an initial estimate and outline the possible solutions. Next, we confirm the scope of work. If needed, we schedule an on-site visit or pickup. For larger or more complex projects, material samples may be presented for selection, and any required materials are ordered. Once everything is approved, the work is carried out either on-site or at the workshop, depending on what the project requires. This may include deep cleaning, repair, structural work, and color restoration. After completion, the item is returned or finalized on-site. The result is checked for consistency in color, texture, and overall condition to ensure it meets the expected standard.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our work is based on hands-on professional training and years of practical experience in leather, vinyl, and upholstery restoration. This includes material identification, repair techniques, color matching, and structural upholstery work such as foam replacement and reshaping. We work with industry-standard restoration systems and materials, including professional-grade dyes, finishes, and protective topcoats used in furniture, automotive, and marine applications. The team is trained to follow correct preparation and application processes to ensure durability, not just appearance. In addition to technical skills, we continuously refine our methods through real project experience - working with different types of damage, materials, and use cases. This allows us to choose the correct solution for each situation rather than applying generic fixes.
