I enlisted Caitlin Richard to create our company logo for our small home farm last year and loved the results. She incorporated an awesome, accurate portrait of our dog with whimsical hand-drawn font that worked at the time. As our business expanded, we wanted to look more serious with a more stable font - so we had Caitlin rework it and love these results, too! I'm able to follow up with her for any new ideas we have or little things we need, like stationery with our branding or a certain kind of file type we misplaced. Definitely recommend!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

While I support myself and my family with art and design, I also understand and get great joy out of working within budget! If you are a low-profit, non-profit, musician or start up that lacks the capital, please reach out to me about negotiating something that will work for both of us.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I spent four years in undergraduate studies of Visual Art with a concentration in Drawing and Printmaking. I have owned and managed a promotional company for the past three years, making logos, websites, posters, graphics and other promotional materials for myself and others in various formats for web, print and merchandise.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Your designer should be able to give your idea a polished, finished look like you could have never imagined - but it shouldn't be something you could never imagine designing for yourself.
