Introduction: I'm a professional musician and music teacher with a Bachelors Degree in Music Performance for Guitar with a Jazz concentration. I've been performing with a variety of bands in multiple genres ranging from jazz, blues, rock, surf, funk and R&B. Aside from making a living off music since 2012, I've been teaching at Guitar Center Studios since 2014 with some very satisfied students that have made great strides in their musical development. I have a classical approach that also offers the student valuable skills in sight reading, ear training, arranging, and improvisation all while keeping it fun! I love working with kids and adults and have been described as a patient and positive teacher. I also play and teach ukulele, vocals, and bass guitar. I often use the keyboard to teach music theory and composition as well. Music is my life, I love sharing the knowledge and watching my students become a master of their instrument.

Thom is the one of the most knowledgeable musicians I’ve met, and his lessons surprised me each visit. He adjusts the pace of the lesson based on my previous guitar skills; Also remaining patient and communicating tricks, tips and music theory to help better understand why and how the guitar works. He’s also an easy guy to talk to, and I would definitely recommend him as a top notch guitar teacher.

I started to learn guitar with Thomas in January 2020 with my son too. We are absolutely delighted with our progress ! Thomas has proposed us a very good balance between « technique » and songs. Not only we are pleased with what Tom is teaching us but on top the fit with him is great. I strongly and sincerely recommend him! Rock and roll !

Thomas is very well rounded. There's a lot to learn, but he breaks it down really well verbally and visually. Super easy to understand, and very patient. I'm a beginner, but I've made great progress in just a few weeks!
