Tami is a great listener, which I think is key when crafting or updating a look. She is always into whatever direction I might decide to go and she knows how to tailor it to make ME look good (some styles are always different from the picture)! She also knows her way around products with some off-the-wall chemicals, so I always call her up when I'm not sure about one. You can tell she loves what her craft and makes an art out of it!

I had fine/thin hair and after my chemo treatments, came back wavy/grey and still fine. My hair was a mess. Tami is not only caring, but worked her magic. My hair was at it's best, under her care. I had to move to another state and I sure do miss Tami....I highly recommend Tami. She is the best!

Tami traveled to me and arrived on time. She worked with me for approx. 2 hours, providing both make-up & hair services. The air brush make-up lasted throughout the evening. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the false lashes Tami brought as the brand of lash would not cooperate. I will note that Tami must be less versed with clip on extensions as they started to fall out during the evening due to no hair teasing above or below to anchor them in place. That said, I would still say overall I was pleased with Tami's styling.

Thanks Amy! Actually, I do know my way around clip ins, and because your hair was freshly highlighted the day before, I decided to be very gentle with your delicate tresses by keeping the teasing to a minimum, just a little light backbrushing on top for fullness...I was worried that teasing AND clip ins might damage your hair. Still, I should have explained that more fully to you, and I apologize for your clip ins slipping...Thank for the feedback!

We hired Tami to do my daughter's hair and make up for her Sweet 16 Photo Shoot. She worked with her for 2 hours and we were very happy with the end results. She's great at what she does and has good suggestions. Really enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend her.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh, gosh, yes! There is so much happening in both hair and makeup it is a real challenge to stay on top of it all. For 2013 I focused on lash extensions education, and more makeup training...Jane Iredale's wonderful classes on The Art of Concealment, JB Lashes classes, more training on the Keratin Smoothing Complex...Continuing education is more than just staying on top of trends in the industry, it's about being able to fully utilize methods and products to bring only the best to my clients, to help them meet their needs.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently had the honor of being hired as part of the team to do the daily hair styling for the Grid Girls of the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) here in Austin! Thirty-two lovely ladies, up at the crack of dawn, literally, and each one has to look flawless, with styles that last all day and night! Seeing hair I did on the news in Britain was so fulfilling! I will never forget the experience, or the special ladies I got to work with.
