FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in fair, upfront pricing with no surprises. My minimum service fee is $125, which covers the first hour of labor—perfect for those small 'honey-do' tasks. After that, I charge $75 per hour. For most projects, I recommend you purchase the 'finishing' items you love (like faucets or ceiling fans), while I provide all professional-grade consumables like screws, anchors, and caulk. Since I live right here in Allandale, I don't charge the heavy travel fees typical of city-wide companies.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make home repairs stress-free. We start with a quick consultation—I usually ask for a few photos of the project so I can provide an accurate ballpark estimate and ensure I have the right parts on hand. We’ll schedule a firm arrival time (no four-hour windows). Once on-site, I’ll do a final walkthrough to confirm the price before I start. I treat your home like my own, using drop cloths and cleaning up thoroughly before a final walkthrough to ensure you’re 100% satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I primarily work with homeowners right here in Allandale and the surrounding North Austin area. This includes everything from young families moving into their first 'fixer-upper' ranch home to long-time residents who need a reliable hand with maintenance. I also enjoy working with real estate investors who need quick, professional touch-ups to get a property ready for the market.
