- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
For electrical installations such as ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc: I need to know if there are already wires run to the spot where the new fixture. For assembly projects: Although not necessary, it's always helpful if you have a make and model or a web link (if applicable) to the product, so I can better know what you need assembled. That way I can quote the job more accurately. For painting or staining projects: Please provide the square footage and type of surface to be painted or stained. If you are not a able to measure, then a good photo will also do.
