I had Eaton install my home theater which included mounting an HD Projector & 92" Fixed Screen in addition to wiring & installing the in-ceiling surround sound. I called Eaton because I needed some expert advice on not only the type of equipment to use, but the best way to optimize the space I had. He not only took the time to listen to what I wanted (including my budget), but he recommended the optimal setup for my home. He returned calls in a very timely fashion and showed up on time. The project was scheduled to last a full day essentially and he competed the project on time & on budget. Not only I am very happy with the work, but Eaton was a pleasure to work with as well. I would definitely recommend him for anyone needing home theater work & there is honestly nothing I can think of that I would suggest improvement on.

Eaton at Austin Home Entertainment is completely deserving of his 5 star reviews here. I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to given the level of service here. I had a relatively small-ish job of running ethernet to all the rooms in my new home, as well as running speaker wire for the rear speakers and mounting a TV and hiding the cables. Most places I contacted wouldn't provide quotes without seeing the place, but Eaton gladly provided an estimate (making it clear things could change given the job though.) Before finalizing a date for the work, Eaton and I spoke on the phone for about 20 minutes and discussed exactly what I was looking to do and some specifics of the house that'd help him guage the work.Eaton showed up exactly on time at 930 the day of the job and got right to work making sure he had everything planned correctly and then getting to it. The quality of his work and speed he was able to get things done was very impressive, especially considering the mess the house was in from us moving. The house had been remodeled, which lead to a few issues in things being as easy as hoped. In each case though, Eaton had multiple options for workarounds and let me decide which way to proceed.The whole job ended up taking a bit longer than expected, but Eaton stayed until almost 8 on a Friday to get it done for me as we had painters coming the next day. Couldn't recommend his services more. His work is very high quality, no holes were left in walls and he was going to clean up with a shop vac, but I since it was so late already and he had worked so hard, I told him to go home and I just took care of it. Eaton's extremely professional both in his demeanor and the quality of his work, and I enjoyed spending the day with him while the work was getting done.

Great Job! The installation came out perfect. The sound is magnificent, Monitor Audio speakers are superb. The HD TV channels are amazing. We end up viewing most of our TV time at " The Cinema", that is what we call our Media Room.Eaton did a wonderful job! His expertise was apparent at every level of the installation. He explained the installation in detail and patiently taught us how to work the system. When I forget something, I text him and he answers back almost immediately. I recommend him highly!

Eaton did a great job with our install. Very nice guy and very knowledgeable with some of the obstacles we threw at him. He had all the answers and the right equipment to take of our needs. All of equipment he recommended is top notch. The sound is great and the look is clean.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Home theater installations in homes that are not pre-wired. This can be challenging, especially on the lower story of a two story home. In-ceiling flush mounted speakers allow for the wiring to be routed easier since mounting theses types of speakers involves cutting a circular hole in the drywall before inserting the speaker to be mounted. This circular hole allows wiring to be passed from one speaker hole to the next without attic access. Sometimes this is the only practical way to get the wiring routed without creating access holes in the drywall. When access holes in the drywall are necessary, we are able to patch the hole using the same square or rectangular piece that we removed. This means that only the seams of the patch need to be repaired and painted.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Follow your instincts when hiring an installation company. Do not rush into hiring the first company you talk with. Ask for references and get more than one quote.
