FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk on the phone first about a client’s needs, wants, budget, and timeline. Then I can come see the space, develop a design concept, and document it with a mood board, floor plan, 3D model, and a list of selections. We can meet again to review the design, and then begin the remodel or installation process. I work with an excellent contractor, if one is needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained to use 2020 design software and SketchUp Pro to create floor plans and photo-realistic design renderings. My design skills have been honed over the past decade.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently wrapped up a master bathroom remodel that turned out beautifully. We took it down to the studs so we could absorb space from an adjacent hall closet. This allowed us to create a double vanity where there was only a single. We doubled the size of the shower and finished the master closet with custom shelving. It took two months to complete.
