We couldn't be happier with our new Murphy bed and surrounding cabinets from Madewell Woodworks an absolute 5-star experience from start to finish.Communication throughout the planning phase was excellent. The team was consistently responsive over email, offered multiple design options, and thoughtfully helped us work through some real challenges with our space constraints. Madewell clearly takes the time to make sure the solution is right for your specific situation not just a one-size-fits-all approach.The pricing was transparent and felt genuinely fair for the quality of work involved. We got one other quote before going with Madewell, and they came in competitively without any of the corners-cut you sometimes worry about with lower bids.Our timeline was right in line with what was originally estimated about two months from order to install. The installation itself went smoothly and efficiently, and the finished piece fits our space like it was always meant to be there (because it was, custom-built just for us!). We gained a beautiful, fully functional guest bed AND a tremendous amount of new storage we didn't have before.We were initially drawn to Madewell because they're local to us, which was a nice bonus but honestly, we'd enthusiastically recommend them to anyone in the region looking for a Murphy bed or custom cabinetry. We had a great experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent and Lauren was always responsive and easy to work with. She really knows how to maximize a small, unique space, and worked closely with me to iterate on the design until it was perfect. Everything was fully customized to the overall design of our home and space, including beautiful walnut finishes, a built-in dresser that complements the design of the bed unit and further maximized the unique space, and even a removable headboard for our horizontal design to keep the pillows from falling off. They take pride in their craftsmanship, with high-quality materials and truly high-end design and finishes. Installation was quick and the final result is both beautiful and incredibly functional, thanks to Craig and his team! Lauren even came back after installation to fix damage we accidentally caused to the walnut, which we really appreciated. We are so pleased and highly recommend Madewell!

Seamless! I barely had to correspond with them as they received my plans, sent me the design, provided my colors and handle preference, and then scheduled install day!
