So far so good. Am waiting for my landscape plan. Kris came promptly to measure and discuss plan and the price was reasonable to do the plan. I will update once I have seen her work. Update after finishing project: I am so happy with my new front yard. Kris worked several days on the project, sometimes with a helper and sometimes by herself. The plants she selected look great and the beds and walkways are very well done. We used drought resistant plants that should do well in this area. I ask for "quirky" rather than too structured and she followed my wishes well. Whenever I had a question or comment, she listened and we discussed options. She suggested staining the concrete walls of of the beds and it really makes the yard look softer and cooler. I have had several neighbors walk by and comment on how nice the yard looks. I felt her price for doing the work was reasonable. She broke out the cost of labor vs obtaining the plants and other supplies which I appreciated. I will be using her again when I am ready to do the back yard.

Kris (aka Angie’s Garden Design) is an absolute gem! We highly recommend her services. She completely revamped our main flower bed in the backyard, and we’re thrilled with the results. Kris is awesome! We have been able to have her come by monthly and she just knows exactly what to do. We have a garden that is hard to maintain and she helps us with that and also advises us on what type of plants grow well etc. She helps picks them out and plants them- she does an incredible job! We are lucky to have found her!

I am all for ballin on a budget. So while I value my time and skills, I am open to discussing prices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon, and have had the opportunity to design school farms and residential gardens.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always enjoyed helping my mom in the garden growing up. She's the "Angie" in Angie's Garden. As someone who is deeply inspired and energized by nature, I've continually sought out any opportunity to work with plants and think ecologically.
