Introduction: My passion is helping individuals heal and transform from a place of distress to a place of hope and Empowerment, where they can acknowledge and embrace their authentic selves to be the person they are meant to be. Regardless of what obstacles you have encountered on life’s journey thus far, you can release yourself from the past. As a Mental Health Professional and Wellness Coach, I guide individuals in identifying their inner strengths using a combined CBT & person centered therapeutic approach in order to conquer fears, improve self esteem/worth, and identify barriers that are holding one back by providing my clients with the tools and techniques to begin their unique healing process and to achieve and build the what they want most in life.

Fatima is great. She truly cares for your struggles and is always there and never fails. I do not regret having her as my therapist, so far I only have had 5 sessions and I was able to feel safe and heard.

Fatima Kovic was my adult son’s counselor for approximately two years. I was initially concerned that he would not be comfortable or open up to her because he had a strong bond with his previous counselor. He had made comments before meeting Fatima about not expecting to like her because he was still attached to his previous counselor. Within just two to three sessions, he was coming home with a positive attitude and was opening up to Fatima. My granddaughter, who was 13 at the time, came to visit and my son took her with him to see Fatima because she was having some issues at school. On my granddaughter’s return home, I could tell that Fatima had helped her. She wasn’t as anxious as she had been and she was more open to discussing with us some of the issues she was experiencing. I also personally spent time with Fatima when my son was attending a one-on-one session with Fatima. Fatima has a gentle firmness about her. When my son was reluctant to speak or expound on an issue, Fatima would speak with him in a way that was gentle, but brooked no nonsense from him. He would end up laughing and discussing the issue at hand. I am also a person who is reluctant to discuss personal issues with someone I don’t know, but I found myself completely at ease with her and was able to discuss issues I would normally not discuss. My son has been in counseling since he was a child and I consider Fatima to be one of the best counselors he has ever encountered. I saw a huge improvement over his attitude, his taking responsibility for his actions and ability to control his anger. While I was not in attendance during his sessions at the counseling group, I was able to see the interaction between Fatima and my son during a few of his private sessions and during our occasional lunches. He highly respects her and values her comments and suggestions. Fatima no longer works for the counseling group that my son attends, but if my son needs to work something out that is not appropriate for the group he attends, he will text Fatima and she is always open and helpful. In full disclosure, we also have a personal relationship with Fatima. We will occasionally have lunch together to catch up. We text with her discussing light personal matters such as what each is making for dinner, sharing recipes and sometimes my son will discuss a problem he or my granddaughter are experiencing. I would recommend anyone to Fatima wanting a good counselor. She does not judge, she listens well. She doesn’t give you the answer, but she helps you work out issues. She is encouraging and gentle with a firm hand that does not allow self-pity or less than honesty. Should you wish further input from me, you may reach me at 281-734-9007.

Highly skilled and empathetic. Excellent therapist so grateful that I found her. I feel very supported and I like that she can look at issues through a holistic lens. I've had depression and anxiety after experiencing multiple traumas during adult and childhood and finally feel safe enough to face them through counseling.

I offer a complimentary Getting Started Session to all my clients and potential clients. I invest in you right from the start because I want you to be certain this is the right move for you. $300/month one time up front payment includes: 1 90 minute discovery social history session 1 complimentary 30 minute Getting Started Session 4 45 minutes coaching/counseling sessions $500/month one time up front payment includes: 1 90 minute discovery social history session 1 complimentary 30 minute Getting Started Session 4 45 minutes coaching/counseling sessions *Unlimited Access to emails and text support
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I strongly believe in order to build a therapeutic relationship there needs to be a connection between the individual and professional. We are all diverse creatures and I want to provide the best service, therefore a 30 minute consultation works best to discuss expectations and goals for our potential relationship.
