I am Farah, and I have been a makeup artist for nearly thirteen years. I have been a free lance Makeup and Hair Artist in Austin for past 9 years. Majority of my clients have been through word of mouth and 100% Happy clients.
Throughout my years as a Makeup Artist , I was able to master bridal, glamour, prom and everyday makeup applications. I specialize in South Asian, Arabic and American Bridals and Bollywood style makeovers. I have had the privilege to work with a variety of skin types, features, and people from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities.
I am certified at many level of application, and I am confident that I can achieve your desired look, whether you are a bride or attending a girls' night out. I strive to make my clients feel special and create a look they will love. This is my passion and I get satisfaction in making you feel special.

Farah is a truly amazing ! She worked her magic on me, my mom, and sisters for three events, including two on the same day. Farah's talent and dedication are unmatched. Not only did she create stunning looks for each event, but she also transformed our looks between the two events, showcasing her versatility and skill.

Truly... where do I even begin... Farah was a God sent (hehe I keep telling her this.. but I am 100% serious! She was my greatest) and I was so thankful I came across her here on Thumbtack to do my hair and makeup for my big day! She is hands down one of the most talented makeup artists in the business. I trusted her to do her thing for my bridals and I can’t believe the miracle she performed on both my hair and makeup. She made me feel like an absolute princess. She is so detailed with every ounce of make up she puts on your face. Her color matching is perfection and she will do whatever you ask. She is so trustworthy and honest and can do anything you ask of her. The day of my bridal shoot, it was incredibly hot and humid outside and I was so nervous my make up was going to drip off my face from sweating and I couldn’t believe how perfect my make up stayed in place throughout the whole entire shoot. I got in the car after my shoot and looked in the mirror and was shook! It still looked airbrushed! True talent, Farah! 🤍🤞🏼✨
On my wedding day, she set up glam and her and her partner performed me and all of my bridal party’s hair and make up. She made my mom look absolutely stunning... all my my bridesmaids felt so beautiful. They kept commenting on how thankful they were that I found her. She did a beautiful, natural, blush look on them and my girls looked out of this world beautiful. She was so calm and patient and timely... I can’t say more amazing things... besides she will always be the person I go to for glam for here on out!

I have had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Farah twice- once for one of my wedding events and the second for my graduation party. On both occasions, I was so happy with my look and got so many compliments. Farah is truly an artist. The first time Farah did my makeup, I let her take the creative reins and decide what look she felt would be best with my outfit and jewelry and I was so impressed with the end result. She created a beautiful sunset inspired eye that matched perfectly with my pink and orange flower jewelry. She knows which makeup products will work best with my skin type and skin tone and I feel that I can always trust her to create an absolutely stunning look. The second time I got my makeup done by Farah, she based the look off of a picture of her previous work that I showed her but modified it to match my dress. She worked so hard to make sure I was happy with each aspect of the look. She curled my hair beautifully into a glamorous and decadent old Hollywood style that lasted all night long. Not only is Farah extremely skilled, but she is the sweetest person and a pleasure to sit with for the 3-4 hours it takes to do my hair and makeup. Her passion for what she does, her kindness and patience, and her amazing talent make her my favorite choice for getting my hair and makeup done for special occasions when I am in Austin. I know I can trust her to always deliver a gorgeous look that I am so happy with. She always makes me look and feel so beautiful!

Farah and Mhejabeen are the two most amazing ladies I have ever met! I was super nervous because I don’t really know much about makeup. I came to them with no prior knowledge or an idea of what I wanted and they took care of me completely. I loved the Blue Smokey eye look Farah gave me! And the beautiful styled curly hair that Mhejabeen did. They helped us style our jewelry and helped the bride with her dupatta setting. We were super anxious and they kept us comfortable and made us laugh the entire time. We knew we were in great hands and they did not disappoint. Everyone was super happy! I highly recommend them and can’t wait to get my hair and makeup done by them again!
