We went for marriage counseling. We LOVE Doc! She was kind, listened, and gave us real life solutions to the problems we were having. We can't recommend her enough!
Elsa gave us the most amazing wedding ceremony. Our wedding planner even asked for her number afterwards because she was so good! She gave a beautiful sermon; so many of my family members complimented her to me afterwards. She really aims to give you the ceremony you want, and makes sure to ask the important questions to have a happy marriage beforehand. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Melissa Vance Wilson is a licensed, efficient counselor who works with a clientele of several spiritual, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Melissa believes that counseling can be an incredible journey of personal growth and self-awareness. As a counselor, she challenges her clients, while using their strengths to push them toward personal growth and identified treatment goals. The advantages of counseling are in direct relation to the time and effort that each person invests toward their own individual goals and drive toward emotional well-being.
Suzanne is providing marriage counseling for us. Her gentle and relatable manner helps ensure both sides are heard, and heard correctly. She does provide us with valuable advice and "homework" to practice what we're learning. I'm so grateful she's providing us with a safe platform and necessary tools to communicate better.
Sydney is a wonderful counselor, with a friendly, welcoming style. She has a wide range of experience, helping people struggling with temporary life changes to managing chronic mental illness. She cares deeply about her clients' well-being. Highly recommended.
I have been seeing Dr. Parsons for marital and parental challenges. She has been extraordinarily supportive and has gently nudged me to take communication risks that have greatly improved my marriage and overall sense of wellbeing (that is, now I'm not afraid to ask for the things I need in my relationship). I have also learned to set boundaries for myself, so that I am not constantly overwhelmed trying to care for everyone around me. In addition, she has helped me deal with sexual and emotional abuse from my teenage years. I am thankful for her help and guidance.

I have over ten years experience as a coach and counselor, I began my training in 1995 and have been working full time helping people with relationships since 2000. Many clients return for sessions with me over the course of time to help resolve new challenges, this attests to my value to them.
I definitely 'felt stuck' in life and was renewing my New Year's resolutions almost daily without accomplishing much. I knew I needed a coach more than a counselor. David is giving me purpose to act and provides me with a level of accountability which was lacking before. Being in my late forties, my coach has given me back my optimism to live life to its fullest in my own way without fear of being judged...a life without fear actually. David is getting me unstuck from my past which is tremendously liberating! I highly recommend Third Force Life Coaching.
I offer a healing place for everyone. I am a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with children and families. I am also certified to provide clinical supervision for LPC interns. I have over 20 years of experience working with children with special needs and offer parenting classes, as well as in-home parent coaching services. I utilize play therapy and the creative arts in my work with children, and I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy primarily in my work with teenagers and adults. Issues that I work mostly with include grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transition issues, addictive issues, communication challenges, behavior disorders in children, and ADHD issues in children and adults. I believe everyone has the capacity for greatness, that life is often difficult and we can get distracted from our true path, and that given time and support, we can get back on track and realize our full potential and dreams.
I work collaboratively with individuals and family systems to access their strengths an find solutions that will assist them create the change they seek in their lives. This empowers them toward sustainable wholeness of being.
I recently completed a certification class to become a certified PTSD Counselor. I've worked with families that were dealing with various issues, and I've successfully counseled Texas prison inmates, to keep them from re-offending.
Our family originally engaged Sheila to support my sons ADD issues and help him create strategies to deal with his struggles in school (in particular we explored Biofeedback Therapy). This went well but then my husbands sudden decision to leave our family left all of us shocked and spinning. Sheila started seeing both children to help them deal with the trauma of divorce and all the intricacies of the situation. While her focus has been the children, she has been instrumental in helping me be the mother my children have needed through this time. She gives me the space to make mistakes and kindly brings me back to awareness of what the children need, want, and feel. She has helped all three of us grieve and cope and move on to an incredibly fulfilling life while still holding all of us accountable for our choices. While Sheila is definitely a strong advocate for the children and their mental and psychological health, she realizes that the parents play a huge role in that and so works with everyone to meet the childrens needs for safety, love, and strong boundaries. I would strongly recommend Sheila to anyone needing support and guidance dealing with the challenges associated with being part of a family as either a child or parent.

I think my service stands out for two reasons: first, my style in therapy is authentic to who I am in my personal life; and second, my goals in therapy are for us to reach your goals. It is most important my clients feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. It can be intimidating to meet someone new and ask for help with personal and relational issues. I recognize this and believe the therapeutic relationship needs to make the client feel at ease. We will collaborate together to make sure we are on the same page in reaching your desired goals for your relationships. What is important to you is important to me. I do not have my own agenda to fulfill, rather I make your priorities my own in therapy.
