Doing Premarital counseling with Suzanne was the GREATEST choice we made regarding our marriage/wedding planning. We learned so much from her...we appreciated her guidance and instantly fell in love with how Real her sessions were. I mean, marriage isn't sunny skies and red roses all the time and we had deep discussions about what marriage was all about. We talked about so many topics I had not considered; I learned a lot about myself AND my girlfriend, who is now my wife. Speaking with Suzanne gave me such confidence about my future marriage and about myself as a husband, I owe her more than I can repay. We both enjoyed her so much, we decided to see her every 6 months or so to check in and continue working on keeping "us" fresh and focused. You have to meet her!

Suzanne is providing marriage counseling for us. Her gentle and relatable manner helps ensure both sides are heard, and heard correctly. She does provide us with valuable advice and "homework" to practice what we're learning. I'm so grateful she's providing us with a safe platform and necessary tools to communicate better.

David is a kind, compassionate person who, after only a few sessions, has greatly helped my boyfriend and I through a rough patch. He is a great coach who listens to whatever it is you need to express, as well as giving his own input, experiences, and expertise. David has helped me uncover the deeper, subconscious reasoning behind my emotions and actions. Also, his advice and recommendations are very actionable as he provides exercises for you to apply in your everyday life. I would definitely recommend for anyone who has relationship issues or simply wants to havs a deeper understanding into their own life.

I definitely 'felt stuck' in life and was renewing my New Year's resolutions almost daily without accomplishing much. I knew I needed a coach more than a counselor. David is giving me purpose to act and provides me with a level of accountability which was lacking before. Being in my late forties, my coach has given me back my optimism to live life to its fullest in my own way without fear of being judged...a life without fear actually. David is getting me unstuck from my past which is tremendously liberating! I highly recommend Third Force Life Coaching.

We have known Mike and Carol Watson for some time now. They have been friends, mentors and encouragers to both of us individually and as a couple. When we got engaged in June of 2013, one of the easiest decisions we made in preparation for our marriage and wedding was to give Mike and Carol a call. We connected with them over the course of several weeks as they walked us through pre-marital counseling. Their insight on communicating as a couple and openly sharing our relational needs has been hugely beneficial in strengthening our relationship with one another. They are genuine people with a heart to care for and guide couples. We have seen their positive impact in not only our marriage but in the relationships of others they have connected with as well. Their biblical wisdom coupled with their practical life experiences from their own marriage were both helpful in our times together. They have a real gift for listening, making you comfortable with opening up and sharing and getting to the heart of potential struggles. Their vulnerability to share their own stories and their ability to care for you in the midst of your story is quite unique. You will not regret the time you spend with these two. Chad and Sarah J.

The Watsons were the ideal marriage counselors for us, and the counseling we received went beyond our expectations. Not only are they compassionate listeners and full of wisdom, they also model in their own relationship the love, sacrifice, and spiritual devotion that they encourage couples to cultivate. Their approach focuses on identifying needs and tendencies in each person, and helping the couple better respond to them. They helped give us a language to communicate where we were both satisfying and missing those desires while always keeping love and respect at the forefront of our communication. The Christian framework they work within provides a rich reservoir of caring and forgiveness which was also blended with the best insights from modern psychology; a mix that is hard to beat. We continue to benefit from the Watson’s counseling in our everyday life, which is a testament to their influence and sincere warmth. (C&S)

“We began visiting with Mike and Carol shortly after we moved from New York to Austin with our four children. The move, new job and unfamiliar culture began to affect our marriage. After 24 years, we began to miss opportunities to appropriately recognize and engage one another’s deepest needs. Mike and Carol are skilled in helping couples recognize their own and their spouses intimacy needs, recognize strengths and weaknesses in their personality, and identify how to strengthen both in the context of relationship, the most important relationships being with God and then spouse. We highly recommend Mike and Carol Watson to all who want to strengthen these relationships.” (Brian & Tamara)

This was way beyond what I had hoped and wished for! Kelly was so tuned in to me. She helped connect the dots that I have struggled to connect. She presented reasons and ideas I had never imagined as as to how I landed where I did and why I made certain choices I made. She gave me tools to pave a better path for myself and the confidence I so badly needed to trust that I can and will get there. Kelly is a radiant beacon of light and a magical counselor. I have been seeing her weekly and growing in leaps and bounds in my life.

Kelly was sweet and compassionate, and speaking with her felt like we were old friends even though it was our first conversation. The experience was astonishing and intensely therapeutic from the get-go as Kelly helped me take some time to reflect on my past as it applies to my future. Highly recommended for anyone seeking spiritual guidance or otherwise!

Kristal is by far one of our favorite people. My husband and I are in agreement that our time with her is what saved our marriage. Kristal balances her professionalism and honest feedback with sincere caring and empathy. She asks great questions, listens with intention, and provides practical and useful tools. Like many people we were apprehensive approaching our issues with a third party, however, there was never a moment where we second guessed our choice working with Kristal. Kristal, you are a gem and a gifted guide. We will never be able to fully express the immense gratitude we have for your support!

I know Paul Iarussi to be a kind and compassionate man and a relationship counselor par excellence. Paul Iarussi is exceptionally professional, knowledgable, and sensitive with the subject matter. When working with Paul there is not any blame or shame. The goal is to discover one's own needs, the partner's needs, how to meet these needs, and how to communicate more effectively. I am grateful for the support we have received and skills we have learned with Paul's guidance. I highly recommend Relational Counseling Services to anyone and everyone. We all need help with relationships and communications at time, and that should be embraced and not embarrassing. My husband and I feel empowered and stronger together with Paul's support.

We loved Paul! His office was inviting and we felt he genuinely cared about us. No one really praises you for doing things for your significant other and when we reported our efforts he really congratulated us and encouraged us to keep it going. We needed a refresher of why we were together and his method of counseling was just the ticket! We're good now, but we plan to go back closer to the wedding just to check in.

My husband and I have benefited greatly from couples therapy with Janeff Counseling. Dean has a calm, grounded, trusting presence that has insured both of us feel equal and validated while getting into our deeper issues of conflict that had not been previously resolvable. As a result of this counseling, we are now able to manage more healthily as issues arise, listen to each other more thoroughly, limit reactivity, and ultimately relate in a more satisfying way. Dean has been instrumental in opening our communication, breaking down the barriers of hurtful judgments, and bringing our relationship to a new, more vibrant level.

Ken G.

Warm, open, compassionate counseling. Overwhelmingly positive experience. I have recommended Dean to multiple friends (both for couples counseling and grief counseling). Dean does an incredible job of listening and gently guiding toward solution. When he suggests something that may not "fit," he is happy to hear that, and we explore other options. Dean helped me through grief over my father's death, then later, with couples counseling for me and my wife. I cannot recommend Dean highly enough.

Dr. Parsons provided psychological and therapeutic guidance through some very challenging personal transitions in my life. When meeting, our areas of focus have included: 1) living with / moving past relationships involving alcoholism and mental illness 2) moving through an unexpected divorce 3) abusive relationships (emotional, psychological, sexual, physical, verbal) & codependency 4) self discovery, self care 5) self-esteem growth, self confidence/clarity, making positive lifestyle changes Not once have I felt uncomfortable meeting with Dr. Parsons and, quite the opposite, the environment is a space of non-judgement and openness. She guides the sessions well, depending on the topic/mood at hand, but also allows them to move organically. Her experience and professionalism are balanced with kindness and empathy. She works with me to discover patterns, answers and confidence within myself, and for that I am very grateful.

I have been seeing Dr. Parsons for marital and parental challenges. She has been extraordinarily supportive and has gently nudged me to take communication risks that have greatly improved my marriage and overall sense of wellbeing (that is, now I'm not afraid to ask for the things I need in my relationship). I have also learned to set boundaries for myself, so that I am not constantly overwhelmed trying to care for everyone around me. In addition, she has helped me deal with sexual and emotional abuse from my teenage years. I am thankful for her help and guidance.

Dr. Parsons is a wonderful therapist. She played a big role in helping me sort out some challenges in my life I was going through and I can't thank her enough. I especially liked the CBT techniques she shared with me because they are ideas and exercises you can practice right away to see immediate changes, rather than going through months and months of therapy and feeling like you aren't making progress. I only saw her for about 5 sessions and feel like what I have gained from these sessions will last me a lifetime. I highly recommend her.

Elsa gave us the most amazing wedding ceremony. Our wedding planner even asked for her number afterwards because she was so good! She gave a beautiful sermon; so many of my family members complimented her to me afterwards. She really aims to give you the ceremony you want, and makes sure to ask the important questions to have a happy marriage beforehand. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Our family originally engaged Sheila to support my son’s ADD issues and help him create strategies to deal with his struggles in school (in particular we explored Biofeedback Therapy). This went well but then my husband’s sudden decision to leave our family left all of us shocked and spinning. Sheila started seeing both children to help them deal with the trauma of divorce and all the intricacies of the situation. While her focus has been the children, she has been instrumental in helping me be the mother my children have needed through this time. She gives me the space to make mistakes and kindly brings me back to awareness of what the children need, want, and feel. She has helped all three of us grieve and cope and move on to an incredibly fulfilling life while still holding all of us accountable for our choices. While Sheila is definitely a strong advocate for the children and their mental and psychological health, she realizes that the parents play a huge role in that and so works with everyone to meet the children’s needs for safety, love, and strong boundaries. I would strongly recommend Sheila to anyone needing support and guidance dealing with the challenges associated with being part of a family as either a child or parent.

About

I think my service stands out for two reasons: first, my style in therapy is authentic to who I am in my personal life; and second, my goals in therapy are for us to reach your goals. It is most important my clients feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. It can be intimidating to meet someone new and ask for help with personal and relational issues. I recognize this and believe the therapeutic relationship needs to make the client feel at ease. We will collaborate together to make sure we are on the same page in reaching your desired goals for your relationships. What is important to you is important to me. I do not have my own agenda to fulfill, rather I make your priorities my own in therapy.

About

I offer a healing place for everyone. I am a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with children and families. I am also certified to provide clinical supervision for LPC interns. I have over 20 years of experience working with children with special needs and offer parenting classes, as well as in-home parent coaching services. I utilize play therapy and the creative arts in my work with children, and I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy primarily in my work with teenagers and adults. Issues that I work mostly with include grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transition issues, addictive issues, communication challenges, behavior disorders in children, and ADHD issues in children and adults. I believe everyone has the capacity for greatness, that life is often difficult and we can get distracted from our true path, and that given time and support, we can get back on track and realize our full potential and dreams.

About

Why did I marry him or her? Is it always going to be this hard? Did I make a mistake? No, you probably did not! Men and women communicate in 2 different languages. If you learn what each other needs, believe me, life gets way easier once you know the secrets! Let me help. My husband of 11 years and I wrote a book called "The Marriage Manual" with 2 sections for him and her. Everything you need to know about making a marriage healthy is right inside. If you need additional counseling, I'm also available. We became "best sellers" on Amazon in February, and people seem to love the short and "straight to the point" way it is written.
