- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The hourly rate carries a 2 hours minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the booking proccess, just a couple of questions about how big is the move, any item that requieres special care, etc, so we can make sure to provide the right number of movers, trucks and tools. We will send you a quote with the hourly rate for 2-up to 6 movers, and you will have the choice to choose the hourly rate that works best for you. We will ask you some basic information as: 1. Full name. 2. Best phone number to contact you on the move day. 3. Starting and ending address. Once we receive that information, we will get back to you for the booking confirmation. It only takes a few minutes. Moving day: Our movers will give you a call at least 20 minutes before arrival. You are required to sign a contract before they start working on your move. Walk through with the client. (4 times) 1. At the loading address, to get an idea about the items that need to be moved, and the way to accomodate them in the truck. 2. Before leaving from the loading address, to make sure there is nothing left. 3. At the new place, before unloading the truck, to undesrtand where all the items need to go. 4. After unloading the truck, room by room, to make sure all the items were placed were they needed to go, after reassembling beds, furniture, etc. Our movers will check the back of the truck after they complete the move and before they leave, to make sure there is nothing left, but you should also check the back of the truck with them. You will also have direct contact with the owner before, during and after the move.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
College degree in economics, combined with some years of experience as a mover, and then manager. We only hire honest, dependable and hardworking movers with al least 3 years of experience in the moving business.
