Tadd and his team were amazing to work with! I lived in a third story apartment and they got the job done in an efficent and timely manner. We moved from Austin to Lubbock and everything arrived safe and sound. I would highly recommend Tadd for any of your moving needs.Feb 19, 2015Verified
I don't appreciate that Tadd's quote, along with 3 other quotes I got, came from individuals (or "Companies") that claim to be licensed/insured movers and are not even real moving companies. I found that out the hard way when I looked them up in the TxDMV website for licensed/insured moving companies.Jan 28, 2015VerifiedTadd B.'s reply
Hi Myra, You never used my service. I see that you are obviously one of my competitors that "catfished" a quote and you are defaming my company. From my reviews, quality and integrity is apparent and I am obviously not the "rogue" mover as claimed. Just to be clear, one does not need a TX Dot to do moving labor. In addition, I use contractors that work on my team that have a TxDot for actual service. I am on the job so quality maintained. It is suspect that you have worked for me, but I won't stoop to your level. I know who you are and it is a shame that you run your business this way. So in a way, you are right. However, my reviews speak for themselves. If there is damaged furniture or a bad quality service, I fix the problem. Sometimes, you just cant make a customer happy and that is the case with small companies all the way up to the largest corporations. So I would implore any one reading this review, look at the other companies who have the same review. Then, from deductive reasoning discover who the rotten apple is. Sometimes, the only way someone can get ahead is by cheating others. But not my company. I deliver quality, integrity, and honesty to my customers.
Three men in a pickup truck could not clean out my Cubesmart space because they didn't have a moving van, really! I ran next door to Uhaul and rented a van. I paid for 3 hours work and they only worked for 3 hours. Yesterday I went to reassemble my Cheval mirror and it is missing a screw. When the took it apart they did not put the screw back. Without the two screws the mirror is useless! I paid $180 for the movers, $250 for the van and now they ruined a $300 mirror! I thought about not posting here but honesty is good. Wish I had read reviews, this was an expensive move!!!!Nov 19, 2014VerifiedTadd B.'s reply
Hi Cyndi, The total cost for your move was $250(including the box truck) and your mirror isnt ruined....the bolts are on the sides of the mirror silly. Again, THE BOLTS ARE ON THE SIDES OF THE MIRROR. I personally did it. 1."Three men in a pickup truck could not clean out my Cubesmart space because they didn't have a moving van, really!" Your storage was empty when we left....you requested just labor only, $60 an hour. So I brought labor and equipment only. Yes, a moving van does cost more. If you wanted a moving van, the total cost would be $225. $250 is close to what the TOTAL moving cost is. By no means did you pay $250 for "Just" the moving van. And your mirror isn't broken..see #3. 2. "I paid for 3 hours work and they only worked for 3 hours" Yes, thank you for paying your bill, some of your bill. Did you expect 4 hours and only pay 3 hours.....not sure what you are trying to highlight or point out? It was 3 hours of honest hard work with 3 PROFESSIONALS, I gave you a $120 discount. You were crying at the storage, you gave me some sad story that your husband left you and you roommate just passed. And you have nothing... and nobody will help you. It was compassion for your situation that I cared and felt sorry for you. 3. "Without the two screws the mirror is useless" The screws, bolts for the mirror, are in the mirror. I am sorry you can not locate them on the mirror, there are two. One on each side. Not broken by any means. Not the end of the world. We usually assemble furniture before leave, however, you were on a budget. I figured you would know what to do with the two bolts on each side of the mirror. Not rocket science. I guess not? Call me if need me to walk you through the process. SO, YOU PAID $250 IN TOTAL ( box truck and Labor) for a 2 bedroom -2 bath, 1000sqft, FOR YOUR MOVE and cant figure out two bolts on your mirror..... Is this why you are unhappy?
I recently used 3rd Story to move from Pflugerville to Austin. My 2 bedroom move included some large antique furniture and they safely got it up 3 flights of stairs with no damage. Would use them again!!Oct 30, 2014Verified
