I had heavy furniture and multiple heavy boxes to get moved from a 3rd story apt. to a 2nd story apt. Rocky and Joe worked cheerfully and steadily, getting the job done very quickly. They had already completed a challenging move before mine. This earlier move impacted their start time with me, but they called me throughout and made sure I was okay with the slight delay. It was no problem. Very communicative and responsible. They maintained a friendly, professional demeanor despite the physical labor and high humidity that afternoon. Joe had a long drive ahead of him back to college and an exam to study for the next day, but he worked hard and gave me the impression that had I asked him to stay on longer, he would have done so willingly. I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you, Rocky and Joe!

The captain called about 30 mins ahead of time on the day of the job to ensure that details haven't changed. Both guys showed up early. Walked the job with me before clocking in. They had a great attitude. They took great care with my stuff. Were very diligent about being efficient with the limited space in my two pods. Everything fit. I couldn't believe it and they finished the job 15 minutes early! I was so impressed. My mom was there and said they were worth every penny. Both guys were constantly moving and keeping a great pace. Both were also in proper physical condition to do this kind of job. Would hire them again in a second. Only wish that since they make the guys "clock in and clock out" of the job that they could have prorated the cost since I have to go in and approve their time.

We do prorate in 15 minute increments after the first hour. If there was something wrong with the bellhops' clock in or clock out times please let us know so that we can rectify the cost difference. One of the best in Business. I am going to list all that I like about Bellhops:
1. Professionalism
From the way they set you up, the timely updates, the movers getting in touch with you, till they get done and you end up paying them, everything about Bellhops feels professional. They act like the Uber/Lyft service for movers.
2. Price
One of the best price offered in the hiring market. 100$/hour for 2 men is very appealing and on top of it they don't have the annoying 2-hour limit followed by most movers (such as Belle-Movers, whom I hired previously). For apartment moving, about 1-hour is rightly sufficient. Most of the payment is dealt by the parent office, so no haggling with the actual movers. This allows respectful negotiation with the hard-working movers. The other good part about them, is their 15 min extension pricing after the regular one-hour. This removes any fear of the move extending over 1-hour limits.
3. Movers
The actual Bellhop movers I have dealt with so far (4 of them in total) have been extremely professional, hard-working men. They are generally very patient and helpful. More than anything these men are professional movers , on-time, right on task men. The only thing they can improve here is the duty of the lead mover. Instead of wasting time lifting trash cans and other petty stuff, the lead can interact more with the customers, and guide the move towards heavy-lifting through the duration of the move. The first time I hired them, they spent about 15 mins moving petty stuff (trash cans, cloth basket etc). By the 2nd hire, I requested them to leave the lighter stuff to me and my family and directed them to lift heavy stuff which they duly obliged.
4. Flexibility
These people understand there could be possible delays in the move and accommodate upto 30 mins delays(and sometimes even 1 hour). This was extremely helpful. On top of this I could also make reasonable last minute changes to the moving location. They willingly accommodated this change.
I can definitely see Bellhops ruling the professional moving market for years to come.

Mitch was very helpful in helping us load our U-Haul truck and move it to our apartment. He also helped my husband take a washer/dryer set to our daughter in another location. He did a great job and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing some moving help.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Straightforward pricing:
You only pay for the time your move requires, with no surprises (Moves with trucks have a one-time base fee plus the hourly rate).
For moves with trucks there is a 3 hour minimum.
For labor-only moving help there is a 2 hour minimum.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Build your moving plan and schedule online or over the phone in minutes:
Tell us what you need, and we'll tailor your moving services and match you with the most-qualified movers. Book for free and pay only a deposit after 48 hours. The rest is due once your move is complete.
2) Meet your movers:
On the night before your move, you'll receive an e-mail that includes a photograph of each mover so that you’re greeted by familiar faces on moving day.
3) Relax while Bellhop carries out the job:Your lead mover will get in touch on the day of your move to let you know your team is on its way. Once your movers arrive, they’ll conduct a brief walk-through, take note of any special instructions you have, and then get moving. You will also be provided with a QR code to clock the team in and out, giving you control over the hours you will be billed.
