I had a stool that needed new fabric to match my room and one of the legs was broken that needed fixing. she was able to reupholster it and make a new piece to fix the leg. She did a very good job and it looks better now then it did when I first bought it.

Our front door had been painted by the sellers who didn't prime it or wait for the paint to dry before closing it. As a result, big strips of paint were coming off along the edges. Amari sanded the old paint off, properly prepared the door for painting, and put on two coats of paint, all for a very reasonable price. On top of all that, Amari is personable and fun to be around. Highly recommended!

Amaris did a great job and was easy to communicate with. I would recommend her services. She repainted some furniture for me. She and her husband picked up and dropped it off at my home. She gave me updates while she was working on them. One of the pieces she repainted was an antique and Amaris took great care of it. I'd use her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a base $12 an hour for labor, plus materials. If the job is more skilled or labor intensive, the price may increase.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The more information I have, the better estimate I can give. The first thing I do when I get hired is evaluate the situation to be sure that my estimate was correct. I strive to be as transparent as possible, so there are no surprises to the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for a faux finishing expert off and on for over five years, and I am currently studying interior design at Texas State University.
