Introduction: We really like color and we like it to be real. I know filters are popular right now, but we really like bright, clean, authentic colors. We'll sometimes add some artistic flair to a few images, but our standard is to capture people and memories the way they really were - natural, original, and real. The best part of my job is learning who a person really is and then highlighting those special traits through photos. One of my favorite quotes is, "It's one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like. It's another thing to make a portrait of who they are." Paul Caponigro said those words, and we've made it a cornerstone philosophy of why we do what we do.

Shannon and Alex made my photography session so comfortable and natural! We had a great outdoor shoot, and they were able to capture some amazing images. But, more importantly, they were able to capture moments. Those un-posed moments in time that show the true energy and essence of a person are so much more valuable than a predictable pose. They were able to provide a way for me to display my personality through an image. I highly recommend booking your next session or event with them!

FAQs

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

We want clients to know that when it comes to photo sessions with their kids, it's ok if children aren't "on" all the time. It's perfectly fine if they're playing and can't sit still and would rather jump off that tree trunk than pose on it. In fact, we *encourage* this. The more fun kids are having, the more real their smiles will be and the more authentic your final portraits will be.
