- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Payment for the whole month is due on the 1st. I provide materials and charge for reimbursement as they are supplied to you, or in will instruct customers how to purchase their own materials. Please inquire directly for rates. I do not charge a recital or participation fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a short video call to meet the student (and parent if applicable), discuss my teaching methods and policies, and go over any questions. From there potential students can think about lessons or go ahead and sign up!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned how to teach piano through the guidance of international pedagogue, pianist, and University of Texas Professor Sophia Gilmson as well as jazz pianist, educator, and director Dan Redner. This is in addition to drawing from my own experience as a musician and teacher. A teacher since 2019, I am a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), and the Austin District Music Teachers Association (ADMTA).
