Joel and his crew did a great job removing the popcorn ceiling and repainting it. They projected that the project would take 2-3 days and they stayed within that timeline. The ceiling needed to be repainted with an oil base paint because my sheetrock was stained, Joel honored his price and repainted without any extra labor charge. Joel communicated well and even though there is no website and we did not sign a contract I would recommend Joel for his excellent work and value price.
Great job removing popcorn ceiling, resurfacing, and painting ceilings and walls. Fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend. Another project removed from my personal checklist. Thanks.
Rolando Cortes hung, taped, floated and textured the walls and ceiling in the majority of a house in east Austin. He also removed the popcorn texture in one room and blended in new Sheetrock with existing in several places. He was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. His rates were very competitive and he was understanding of delays caused by inspections. I would hire him again.
Had a 2200 sqft home from the 80s with horrible popcorn. Mario came in, gave us a solid bid, said it’d be done in 5 days and it was. At the end of it, it looked incredible and clean. He put everything back the way it was. He was very responsive via text. Also we had him install recessed lighting and redrywall over old fluorescent lighting and stain the vaulted ceiling beams. Great work all around. Will use Mario and his team again!
He repaired some walls and the kitchen ceiling after some fixtures were replaced. Did an excellent job. Then came back and changed my plumbing fixtures. Well Pease with the work and the price.
Oh my gosh. These guys are fantastic-reliable, professional, and SOOO talented. They did lots of work at our house - from painting to extending a cedar ceiling under our patio. They are meticulous and their work is incredible. Honestly-very, very talented craftsmen. Highly recommend and we will use them again. Great value!!
Izaiah and Ashley are a great team. The project took longer than I expected but the work that was done is basically flawless. I had some dry wall patching, popcorn removal, ceiling retexturing and priming/painting done on about 650sq ft. They did a great job matching the texture to some previous work I had done and the attention to detail on the painting would be hard to surpass. I highly recommend Clean Planet Construction to anyone looking to have this kind of work done. Izaiah is also great to talk to about future projects as he seems to have a pretty good eye and imagination. I will definitely be reaching to Izaiah and his team again for future work.
Rene and his crew did a great job! They removed and replaced the attic access door in our garage. The one we had ordered was actually the wrong size and they took care of finding the correct one and helping with the exchange. Rene went above and beyond by sealing up some additional cracks in our garage ceiling as well as repairing the ceiling where it was damaged from the previous door trim. Communication, quality of the work and cleanliness of the work area after they left were all great. I will definitely call Rene and his crew again the next time we need some work done.
Bud hung 2 Ceiling Fans in my living room, and my Ceilings are 20 ft. High. He also Pressure Washed my back deck and driveway to make them look new again.Real nice guy and good prices.
Chris did a great job removing the popcorn in on of our bedrooms. We didn't want to pay what the larger painting contractors wanted to charge and we didn't want to do it ourself so Chris was the perfect choice. He showed up when planned and finished in the expected time. Finished product looks great.
Chris did a fantastic job and was very reasonable in price. I needed several small things done and he was very accommodating in agreeing to get the materials and arrange comfortable times to do the work. He furnished the labor and material. Repaired a fence post, , installed new dryer vent, caulked sixteen windows, removing and replacing solar screens to do so. He sealed and painted spots on upstairs ceiling and down stairs rooms, painted the front door, garage door jamb and replaced sweeps on storm doors. I highly recommend him and look forward to his doing two rooms of tile for me in October.
Francisco at Elias Drywall is excellent and dependable. His work looks great and he completed the job in the time he said it would take, and for the same price he quoted. Our 1981 house had popcorn ceilings and a few other quirks, and thanks to Francisco we now have a clean, fresh looking ceiling that's flat and free of texture. Thank you, Francisco!
Kelly Cobb is a great handyman / painter / remodel person. I hired him for a small job and kept him on to basically remodel the house and another investment property. Some jobs he did were: removal of popcorn ceiling, re texturing walls and paint after electrical work cut holes in drywall, bathroom tile - floor and tub, installing bathroom vanity, landscaping, kitchen remodel, exterior & interior paint on outside house etc. I would definitely recommend Kelly as he is a hard worker and can complete just about anything. I attached some pictures of just the kitchen remodel. I described some crazy things I wanted done such as the live edge bar and his idea for the stainless steel back splash, which he had the contacts for the custom slab (he sanded it, sealed and treated slab) and steel work. He also has other contacts if needed. Trustworthy, nice, fair prices and conscientious! If I ever need additional work or do a flip I am excited I know a contractor. When the job got really big I did use his recommended helpers. He also got along with the neighbors and some subsequently hired him after my job. Thanks Kelly!
We had all the popcorn removed from our ceilings. This is a very messy job. They worked very hard to keep the mess to a minimum and the end result is beautiful.
He was reliable, courteous, conscientious, considerate and skilled. He corrected anything that was not up to his high standards or mine. He always left a clean work site. His work was excellent. He removed ceiling fans, clad an exposed, laminated beam, trimmed the cladding and rehung the fans on a vaulted ceiling. Refinished three doors, installed molding around five doors, corrected problems with two doors original installation, installed door knobs on all. Installed baseboard in two rooms. Extensively remodeled an office including: Installed tongue-in-groove aromatic red cedar on one wall Custom framed three windows, two in aromatic red cedar and one in pine. Completed installation of a half-done bead-board ceiling Installed track lighting on said ceiling. Painted said ceiling and the pine window framing Installed wiring raceway along three walls to carry computer wiring. Added a duplex plug to one wall. Finished and installed a barn door on an office wall allowing door to slide open and closed without taking up room needed for office furniture. Did a beautiful job. Built a wheelchair ramp along an uneven exit to facilitate safe passage for a newly handicapped resident. I will happily employ him again. Thanks, again.
We did a complete renovation of our home, removed old kitchen, removed one large bathroom that had too much wasted space, installed in its place a large, modern kitchen with beautiful granite countertop and bar adjacent to large living area, with lifted ceiling, installed box ceiling, canned lights, drywalled pantry, installed tiled floors and restored hardwoods, renovated bathroom, insulated house, installed new windows throughout, installed new A/C, Scope of work was extensive. Design Center provided guidance every step of the way, took time to revise plan and offer options that fit my budget. Design Center took care of all the details, handling all sub-contract work and contacts with city planning dept, etc. My phone calls were always answered or returned, workers were on site as planned. All workers were professional, respectful, friendly and paid attention to details and the quality of their work. The project was carried out over many months, and only exceeded deadline because I kept adding work to the original plan, for example, deciding to renovate the pantry, which was not initially planned. Design Center was flexible in working with me on changes and continues to be available as we plan for next phase of work, installing carport, renovating outbuildings, etc. Gordon and Ryan are a great team, and have a good team around them. I recommend them highly.
Anne has faux painted my entire house. In total she has probably spent 3 weeks or more on various projects including re-texturing and fauxing kitchen walls, two accent walls in my study and dining room, re-do of my entry way including the ceiling, a total re-do of a bathroom, and three murals. Her work is amazing. The first job she did for me was to correct a horrible job on furniture done by a previous painter. She gets her job done on time. She is a true artist with a fabulous eye for color. Her prices are reasonable for the high quality of work that she does. And she listens to her client. She may suggest something different but she will not force her own ideas on her clients.
I am very pleased with the way the popcorn ceiling removal and new texture turned out. James and his guys were very clean and professional and were very keen on ensuring that the final product was to our liking. They even helped with some other drywall issues we were having. They were well priced and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them to others.
