Ask your real estate Agent "What is the process for Buying a Home" or .... "What is the process for Selling a Home"? Ask them questions that are important to your needs. Remember, times have changed exponentially in the real estate market. Agents that have closed hundreds of deals are not necessarily representing your best interests on a personal level. They could be looking to get one more deal under the belt, so just ask how they will accommodate your need whether it is in personal attention or simply strategic negotiation efforts.
